Job description

Position Objectives: To verify the quality and performance of the Network implemented by the Vendor. Attend on site acceptance testing carried out by the Vendor.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Receive guidelines and instructions from project manager about required work.
Verify the Vendor’s Site Designs and As-built drawings; confirm that they are in complete, accurate and compliance with the clients’ requirements.
Verify acceptance testing carried out on site by the Vendor as directed by the PM.
Review technical issues related to RF and radio access network engineering, designs and provide feedback to the Vendor.
Ensure standardisation is maintained throughout the Client’s network.
Work closely with the Clients’ RF and Transmission team, assist in solutions and advise on best practice to RF or Transmission issues.
Review and validate Transmission, RF and coverage plans submitted by vendor.
Monitor and review progress of radio access network deployment, and assess technical issues and roadblocks that might impede progress.
Participate in meetings and discussions as directed by project manager.
Provide reports on the Vendor’s performance concerning site installation quality and progress.
Attend site meetings and represent the Project PM.
Maintain a written record of meetings with the Vendor, where required provide minutes presenation materials and action lists.

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum 7 years telecommunication experience
University Degree in telecommunication engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of mobile Network rollout testing and acceptance
Knowledge of Microwave and Fibre Optic Transmission Networks
Experience of acceptance of Microwave/Fibre Optic Transmission and LTE Networks (SSV and Network Performance KPIs)
Essential skills: Team work, Communication skills and knowledge transfer capability
Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
