About the Business Unit:

Transmission network comprises the National and International networks using SDH and POTN technology. All International connectivity via Terrestrial and Submarine cables also forms part of this team (including landing stations etc).

About the Role:

This role is responsible to operate and maintain the National and International Transmission Networks.

This role is also responsible to support the delivery of telecom services for internal and external customers through state-of-the-art transmission technologies and protected networks and ensure high availability/performance of services.

About You:

You should have at least 2 years of work experience in operating large scale Transmission Networks. You should have experience working with a service provider or telecom operator or leading vendors in similar capacity. You should be experienced in Transmission Technology and applications, and in Submarine Cable Systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum requirement is a Bachelors degree in Engineering or degree in any stream with equivalent experience.
