This position is responsible for the management of Network Operations
team that monitors network elements, network performance, and
facilities for service issues. This person will manage a NOC team to
ensure NOC operation as per predefined KPIs & targets
Responsibilities
Directly manage network operations team responsible for monitoring core network elements, network performance, and facilities for service issues
Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information
Accomplish department goals by communicating job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise job results; coach, counsel, and discipline employees; develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
Report directly to senior leadership on overall NOC performance
Work closely with engineering, provisioning, and field operations on development, design, and implementation of new services
Manage the network inventory system
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in telecommunication/electrical/computer engineering, related field or applicable work experience
People management experience
Project Management experience
Strong Communication skills
Telco operator working experience preferred
>5 years of network operations supervision
Advanced knowledge of 2G/3G/4G, Core Network, transmission Network technologies
Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques
