RAN TRANSPORT NETWORK DESIGN ENGINEER

Technical and/or functional skills:

Good understanding of 2G/3G/LTE technology (at least 2 of them)
Perform Detailed Network Design Activities such as network topology design, node and link dimensioning, network impact studies, path performance calculation, frequency assignment, Data Communication Network (DCN) and Network Management System (NMS) design, Synchronization plan
Recommend DCN re-engineering design as necessary
Analyze field survey such as Line of Sight (LoS) and Radio Frequency Investigation (RFI), support for site selection process
Provide network level and detail connectivity of microwave equipment and other transport media in high complexity Transport Network
Human Competence

Proven Track record with minimal 3-5 years’ experience as RAN Transport Network Planning and Design operations
Be a team player and strong interpersonal skill
Ability to work under pressure
Have strong customer relationship and customer focus and have effective presentation and communication skills
Strong customer focus and high concern for quality is required
Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and initiative
Bachelor/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Telecommunications Engineering, MIS or related field
